The Triangle Area Auburn Club sponsors scholarships for Triangle area students attending Auburn.

How to Apply for a Scholarship

The Triangle Area Auburn club sponsors a $1000 scholarship available to incoming freshman students. Applicants must reside in Alamance, Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Nash, Orange, Wake, Wayne, or Wilson County, North Carolina; and demonstrate financial need. The General Scholarship Committee within the Office of University Scholarships selects recipients.

The TAAC Scholarship is available through the Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager website (AUSOM). AUSOM has many useful online features including search, scholarship requirements, application, and accepting awards for available scholarship opportunities.

Donate to the Scholarship Fund

With your help, we can make a difference for future Auburn students from  the Triangle Area in North Carolina. The club sponsors a $1000 scholarship to a freshman from the greater Triangle area.

Your gift enables us to award scholarships each year to incoming Auburn students from Alamance, Chatham, Cumberland, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Harnett, Johnston, Lee, Nash, Orange, Wake, Wayne, or Wilson Counties in North Carolina. Giving to this scholarship is a great way to make an impact on incoming students who will be attending Auburn University from our area.

Recent Scholarship Recipients

2023 Recipient - Keaton Monville

The Triangle Area Auburn Club Awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Keaton Monville for 2023. Keaton is from Wake Forest, NC and a graduate of Heritage High School. He is starting at Auburn this Fall studying Professional Flight. He chose Auburn because “the community and experience of Auburn is unlike any other college I toured.”

2021 Recipient - Max Van Horn

The Triangle Area Auburn Club Awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Max Van Horn this spring. Max is from Chapel Hill and he played soccer and lacrosse in high school. He also participated in Model UN and Backpacking Club. He said that he intends to continue those hobbies through intramural sports and clubs while at Auburn.
